In Memory of Jackie Speight, April 13, 1959 - February 10, 2009
Since 1993, Workout for the Cure, LLC has been dedicated to making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Workout for the Cure is the second largest fundraiser for Maryland affiliate, Komen for the Cure -- raising more than $300,000 since its inception!
The group formed as a way to support and then honor a friend who ultimately lost her fight to breast cancer.
The group’s official extravaganza event, Workout for Cure 2009, will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009.
Join our Workout for the Cure team at Rio Sport & Health at 11:00 a.m. as we participate in a fun and inspirational group indoor cycle class to honor the memory of Jackie Speight.
The group ride will cater to all levels of fitness, and riders do not need to be a member of Sport & Health clubs to participate.
All donations -- great or small -- go directly to Komen,Maryland,an affiliate of the Susan G. Komen
foundation.
The $$$$ you help to raise will fund breast cancer research and programs in the state of Maryland!
